In Australia we are so risk adverse to rule changes, like the game of soccer having two rule changes in 100 years are national sport of afl takes so much time to change rules that it impacts everyone.
The NFL seemed fluid to me. In rugby league they throw you out for a punch but unlike the NFL new rule although annoyingly its two strikes, at least its not grey like the punch/kick laws in out codes.
