The Mavs improved their record to 27-4 in the RMAC with an overall record of 37-7. Mesa ends the home regular season at 23-5. They head on the road for the next two series. They start a three game series against Metro State next weekend. They finish up RMAC play against Colorado School of Mines May 6 to the 8th. Mesa is in great shape to win the RMAC regular season title which will make them the number one seed in the RMAC tournament.

The next time Mesa plays at home is in the RMAC tournament.   This will be a double elimination tournament starting on May 12th. The winner will receive an automatic bid to the South Central Regional.   Mesa is hoping to host that tournament but there is still a lot of baseball to be played.
