Colorado Hosts Nebraska, Hottest And Most Expensive College Football Ticket This Weekend

By Jordan Long

The Colorado Buffaloes head into this Saturday’s game fresh off beating #16 ranked TCU 45-42.  After the win, Colorado is ranked #22 in the AP poll.  They take on their archrivals from their BIG 12 days, Nebraska.

According to CBSsports.com, Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders said, “Colorado, we don’t like Nebraska. That’s just what it is. We’ve just got to focus on that, ‘ok cool, we don’t like Nebraska.’ But that’s not really going to change the preparation or anything like that. We prepare like nobody likes us, because we know we’re going to get everybody’s best game. It’s just another thing on top, just a little bit more motivation.”

The Colorado Buffaloes last played Nebraska in 2018 and 2019.  Colorado won both of those games, but they were competitive going down to the wire.  2018, Colorado defeated Nebraska 33-28.  2019 it took overtime, but Colorado survived 34-31.

With Nebraska heading into Colorado, tickets have skyrocketed.  The average ticket on a secondary website is $400.  On Stubhub.com, the lowest ticket for a single ticket to the game is on the ten-yard line for $349.  The highest ticket to get into Folsom Field in Boulder, Colorado sits at $733 which is on the 40-yard line.

On seatgeek.com, the west endzone is the most inexpensive.  It will set a person back $359.  When it comes to the most expensive seat it’s at the 40-yard line in row 1 for  $2,859 a ticket.

Vividseats.com also has tickets for the game.  The cheapest ticket right now sits at $375 in section 220 which is the upper level of the 20-yard line.  The most pricey ticket on the website is section 569, going for $2,250.  All these ticket prices will fluctuate before kickoff.

This is one of the highest and hottest tickets this weekend for a college football game.  Colorado searches for a 2-0 start to the season for the first time since the 2020 COVID shortened year.  In a full season, the last time they began 2-0 was in 2019 when they knocked off Colorado State University and Nebraska.  Kickoff for Colorado vs. Nebraska is at 12 PM Eastern Time.
